Artificial Intelligence (AI) Foundational Boot Camp
This half-day session (led by Cedric Druck with Bryan Clayton supporting) will provide a comprehensive, hands-on introduction to the world of AI, tracing its evolution from the 1950s to today’s powerful machine learning and generative models. This will cover the major classes of AI, their distinguishing features, and their most effective applications—particularly in clinical trial supply chains. Through real-life examples, open discussions, and small exercises, the group will examine AI's current capabilities, its potential to optimize clinical operations, and the ethical and operational risks involved. Finally, participants will complete a hands-on team project to design and defend an AI solution for clinical trial supply forecasting or another use case, emphasizing the importance of strategic framing, stakeholder alignment, and responsible implementation.
Advanced AI : Hands-On Make and Take for Experienced Users
This separate half-day session (led by Bryan Clayton with Cedric Druck supporting) will introduce participants to essential AI concepts tailored for clinical trials, emphasizing data security and privacy. It will enable attendees to gain hands-on experience with AI tools to enhance efficiency and learn strategies for ethical and secure AI use in clinical trial settings. Through interactive sessions and real-world examples, participants will leave equipped to implement AI responsibly in their work in the clinical supply chain.
